It's also known as the Night of Decree..
It is in the last 10 nights of Ramadan. There is no history in the Qur'an as
to when the specific date is...

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
1 Lo! We revealed it on the Night of Predestination.
2 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Night of Power is!
3 The Night of Power has more blessings than a thousand months.
4 The angels and the Spirit descend therein, by the permission of their Lord, with all decrees.
5 (The night is) Peace until the rising of the dawn.

Muslims often pray extra prayers on this day, particularly the night prayer.
They awake, pray, and hope Allah will give them anything they may
desire for on this night. Mostly, they perform reading Qur'an...

My father also a poem. يطلقون عليه شاعر من شعراء الجاهلية

very late for my father, not as his friends..
But he is famous, no one can challenge him.

أنا العبْدُ يا سيّدي حيْثُ مالي
سواكَ وما دون َعندي عديمُ
تقبَّلْ قيامي الضعيفُ وكنْ لي
رحيماً بعفْوِكَ تَدْنو النعيمُ
وَهَبْ لي بما قد سَأَلْتُكَ يوْماً
وَبَارَكْ فأنْتَ السّميعُ العليمُ
وَهَبْ لي من الخيْرِ منْ دونِ عِلْمٍ
ومنْ سَبْقِ عَلْمٍ فأنْتَ الكريمُ
.........
لي حبيـبٌ مثلُ بـدْرٍ يـضيءُ
قُرُّ عيني حين َعنْدي يجِيءُ
ساكِنٌ بالجُـوفِ مـنْ ُزودِ قَـدْرٍ
حيْثُ يبْـقـىَ عنْـدَ قلبـي هَـنيءُ
دائمُ الإخْـلاصِ مـنْ كـلِّ معْنَـى
واصَـلٌ ذُو بـسْـمَـةٍ مَايُـسِـيءُ
